The GL865A is compliant with USB Video Class 1.1. It works with Microsoft native inbox Windows driver which is bundled with all WinXP SP3, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Alternatively, Genesys Logic provides proprietary drivers for GL865A to enable users for better image performance and special function requirement.
The GL865A has a built-in MJPEG engine and hardware ISP to process RAW data from CMOS sensor to provide high resolution and high frame rate of video stream. It supports up to 30fps at 720p (1280x720) resolution.
GL865A provides industry leading cost-effective OCCS (on chip clock source), which eliminates the need of an on board crystal for USB frequency. It also has a built-in 2-channel voltage regulator.
